Age Requirements

Children 17 and under sail for only $99 per child when traveling with 2 full-fare paying adults (at the Double rate) in the same stateroom (plus $165 per child).

Any guest who is under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult over the age of 21 who expressly agrees to be responsible for the minor. The minor must be booked in the same or connecting cabin as the parent or responsible adult. Guest ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty. NO exceptions will be made at embarkation.

When traveling with a minor and both parents/legal guardians are not cruising, you MUST bring an original signed letter (notarized) from the absent parent/legal guardian authorizing the minor to travel with you. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security.

An individual’s age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise

Infants must be at least 3 months old on the day of departure in order to travel.

Fees, Cancelations & Transfers

  • The passenger who places a reservation for a cabin on board ShipRocked will be considered that cabin's "Primary" passenger, and is therefor solely responsible for initiating or authorizing changes to the reservation
  • Primary passenger name changes are considered a transfer, and are subject to a $150 transfer fee.
  • If a Primary passenger reservation is transferred to a NEW passenger, the NEW passenger must make full payment. Once that payment has been made, then the applicable amounts paid by the ORIGINAL traveler will be refunded directly to the original traveler.
  • Through August 13, 2010, each cabin will receive one complimentary name change (excluding Primary passenger) or passenger addition, for second, third or fourth passengers. Additional name changes will be assessed a $75 fee for each occurrence. Name changes from August 14, 2010 through September 13, 2010, will be assessed a $75 fee. Name changes from September 14, 2010 through October 13, 2010, will be assessed a $75 fee. No name changes will be permitted after October 14, 2010.
  • All cabin cancellations will be assessed a $75 per-passenger administration fee subsequent to confirmation of reservation, and are subject to the cancellation schedule and additional cancellation penalties listed below.
  • All cancellation and reservations changes must be submitted in writing via email to reservations@getshiprocked.com. The date that such written notice of cancellation is received will determine the applicable cancellation fees per the above schedule. No exceptions will be made.

Cancelation Schedule

Due to the unique nature of our event, we have a very strict cancellation policy. Therefore, ShipRocked HIGHLY recommends that it's passengers consider purchasing travel insurance for your trip.

75% refund of total monies received, minus a $75 per person administrative fee

Prior to May 14, 2010
50% refund of total monies received, minus a $75 per person administrative fee

Prior to August 13, 2010
25% refund of total monies received, minus a $75 per person administrative fee

After August 13, 2010
Non-Refundable. There will no refunds given for those who do not show up on time, unused tickets, or after ShipRocked 2010 has occurred
