Website Goodness
Your humble Capt. is a bit of an internet geek. So I tend to get excited about the various gadgets, widgets and other bells and whistles that can be incorporated into websites. I decided to add one such goody to the site last night. You’ll notice a new music player over in the sidebar now, where you can rock out to a couple tunes from each of our ShipRockers. Hope you enjoy!
Not So Goodness
I had hoped to also include the new music player on our MySpace page. However, I discovered last night that our profile has mysteriously been deleted! Needless to say I’m working fast and furious to find out what the hell happened there (thinking we may have been hacked), and hopefully we’ll get it back up and running soon! Sorry to all our Myspace friends for any inconvenience!
Oh My Goodness

Included in my internet geekdom is an interest in quality web design, and especially the utilization of cool looking fonts. However, occasionally there is a font that everyone and their dog picks up on at the same time. And much like a hit song that’s played so much it just starts to grate on your nerves, the font becomes overused and played out. One such font these days is a very rock and roll looking typeface called Bleeding Cowboys. Now, I don’t blame any of these people for using it, because it is a pretty killer font. But really people, it’s time to move on now.

The ShipRocked myspace page was really cool while it lasted. Maybe one of Obama’s executive orders contained directives to shut it down.
Have you guys heard of the band Aranda? They rock so hard and put on a phenominal live show. The lead guitarist even plays guitar with his boot. They have a song released on the radio “Still In The Dark” and they would be an awesome addition to the cruise. Aranda has recently been on tour with Saving Abel, Puddle of Mudd, and Saliva. I hope Shiprocked will add them to the line-up.
